Nick, the company’s co-founder and CEO, comes from a family deeply rooted in the trucking industry, providing him with firsthand experience of the field. He began his career by starting an asset-based brokerage firm in 2014, where he noticed the lack of suitable software solutions for companies like his and his family's.
Together with his co-founder Leo Gorodinski, they founded Alys.

Their recent raise has come at an unprecedented time when funding for logistics startups has been drying up.. As of September 2025, startups in the logistics space have only managed to secure $5.7 billion in funding across 469 deals, way below 2021 levels, when startups raised a record $28 billion across 1,554 deals.
Alvys has managed to triple its revenue in the past 2 years and is on track to double its revenue again this year, according to Nick.
